Sugar bowl / 3 Rosenthal china germany, gives a touch of elegnaza and refinement to your table. When in 1745 Frederick the Great built his new Sanssouci castle in Potsdam, he also commissioned to create a specially crafted table. During this period the architecture and interior decoration were seen as an indissoluble unit. Rosenthal's "Sanssouci" porcelain service relief reflects its delicate rococo style of the "Grand Salon" of Sanssouci Castle. The service was highly appreciated and imitated by many producers. But only Rosenthal obtained in 1894 the royalty license from the porcelain manufacture to create this faithful service to the original. It has never been altered and still corresponds to the service of the "old Fritz".
